Khaza

A nigga couldn’t keep his emotions in check without my medicine and the crazy thoughts that were taking over my mind had me paranoid as hell. I walked around the hotel room I was stashed in a few hours out of Atlanta and peeped through the curtains before I pulled out my burner and making the phone call I’ve been dreading to make. I heard that Khadi came into town wreaking havoc in ATL. Gator was pissed at the number of workers he’d lost too. He was constantly blowing up my phone, so I relocated just to fall off the grid for a while.

“Hello.” He answered the phone in irritation while I sat quietly on the phone unsure of what to say. “Who dis?” he barked into the phone again.

“K-Kh-Khadi.” I cleared my throat, calling his name trying my best to hold back the tears. I was one emotional ass gangsta.

“Khaza?” he asked, sneering into the phone. I imagined his facing contorted in anger on the other end of the phone.

“I…I’m sorry, man. That bullet was not intended for you.” I gathered myself together before I broke down. When he didn’t say anything, I took his silence as a sign for me to continue, “Bro… I-I’m sick. I was-“

He cut me off, “Fucking right you sick.” His voice boomed through the phone. “You fucking off your damn rocker nigga, if you think I’d ever forgive you for what you did.” He laughed into the phone, “How’s ATL?” he questioned, and my eyes widened in shock. “See what I keep telling myself is I damn near raised you and I’m just trying to figure out where the fuck I went wrong with your disloyal ass.” he spat with no remorse. “I was gon’ let yo ass make it if you would’ve just went back to Haiti and suck on mamon’s titty but since you living so foul that you had to go and hook up with the enemy…Gator. You picked your side stupid ass.” Damn I really fucked up this time…how the fuck this nigga knew I hooked up with Gator. “Quick question though did you reach out to him cause you’re just that disloyal and hurt or did that nigga reach out to you ‘cause I was man enough to wife my bitch up the right way and its killing him?” he laughed into the phone again.

Once I heard him talking about Brooklyn, it’s like he triggered the little devil that was sitting on my left shoulder and I snapped, “Nigga, fuck yo’ bitch. That’s probably why you disowned me, huh? You scared imma fuck yo’ bitch too?” it was my turn to laugh as I cracked up on the phone.

“Nigga you won’t live long enough to even get a whiff of my bitch scent.” Was the last thing I heard before the line went dead.

Shit! I jumped up and ran over to the curtains to scan the parking lot to see if anything looked outta place. Fuck! I picked my phone back up and called my only allie.
